Hi, Lol2 and Lol3 deviated too much from the orignal mechanics. Transitionning from Linear to Open world failed and despite original precepts of scenario.. they felt like completely different games for most of us. After the first minute of play, we already knew they lost it. I played LoL1 at the age of 10, in 1995 and still consider it the best adventure game I have ever played to this day. Pixels drawings, music scores, game length, puzzle difficulty and the general game experience revolving on the adventure rather than D&D stats crunching makes it chef d'oeuvre. Had I money and time on my side, I'd pay dearly to recreate the sequel to LoL1 on how it should have continued, using the very same linear game frame. Hyper-high-HD-video-graphics are a poor substitute to an efficient scenario and that's where old-school game designers beats modern ones. Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References:- www.gog.com/forum/lands_of_lore_series/land_of_lore_1_24_years_latconsumer product marketing examplesThanks!
